Pours amber with a thin white head. Smells of sweet malt. Tastes sweet with some light fruity hints on the finish.

Bottle. Poured with a average-sized, creamy off-white head. Body was clear and amber-colored. Powerful aroma of roasted malt, with some hints of chocolate and/or coffee as well. Creamy texture with a medium body, and lively carbonation. Quite a lot of flavor that grew on me over time and as it warmed up a bit... very malty, again with the chocolate, with an average-duration finish. A very solid amber ale that I’d gladly drink again.

Bottled. Poured deeper amber with a well-retained cap of tan head. The aroma picked up a soft blend of nutty and caramel notes with nice toast to ’em.. earthy and grainy accents. The flavor had more of the nutty notes with dry earth and toasted grains around.. a little sour on the edges, but it worked well.. short, dry finish. Lighter-bodied with scratchy carbonation and dryness on the palate.. felt decent, and it was certainly better than expected.

The aroma has citrus hops with caramel malt and sour dough bread. The appearance is amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma but soapy. The palate is smooth. Overall there is a nice bread and butter thing going on but it is faint and buried by soapy hops so I am not really a fan.

not exactly what I am looking for i na amber ale, it pours and looks very clean. there is a harsh sense of hoppy malt flavor at the start and it goes all the way through. has got all the right components but the end product is not worth it.

Pours clear amber, decent head that disappears. Very lager-ish aroma with spicy hops. The flavor is very bready, and way over-spiced. NO raosted flavor to the malt, the hop bitterness is at a good level, but the flavor is off-mark and overpowering. Almost tastes like it’s trying to be a holiday beer.
