| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 12, 2009 Pours copper with a strong white head. Light bodied. Aroma of citrus, with little to no malt complexity. Bitter finish. Tasted more like an American APA than IPA. But not bad. JCB (1781), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Draft at Carrboro Bev Co. Soft orange pour with an abundant head. Aroma is very nicely clean, dry but with a hint of resin and sweet fruit. Full mouthfeel, and tons of Amarillo playing around for sure (bit of that Simcoe juice backs it up). Almost comes across like a fusion of SNPA and Green Flash. Pretty nice, I’ll probably look for this in a sixer. daknole (2984), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Hazy orange pour. White head. Juicy citrus, fruit and light hops on the nose. Flavor is smooth and a bit sweet. Good citrus peel hop bite on the finish. Berley31 (198), New Brunswick, Canada
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 13, 2009 A: Poured with an average-sized, fizzy white head... some fairly good lacing on the sides of the glass in web patterns. Body is a beautiful orange color, and hazy.
S: Very nice aroma of hops, and a fruitiness in there that I can’t put my finger on... almost like strawberries. Pine notes present as well.
T: Excellent flavor on this IPA... lightly sweet at the beginning, due to the fruitiness mentioned in the aroma, and then it finishes bitter. This isn’t a knock-your-socks-off bitterness, but it’s present with a touch of dryness, yet the beer as a whole is actually quite smooth and very drinkable.
M: Medium-bodied and creamy, with soft-average carbonation.
D: An excellent IPA, one that I could drink regularly (if I could only buy it regularly) and consistently enjoy. ucusty (1900), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 24, 2009 Hazy orange pour. Off white head and drippy lace. Toffee, caramel and tropical fruit on the nose. Body is a little thin especially given ABV. I guess it means the ABV is well masked. Hoppy flavor. Grapefruit, pine and resin satan165 (599), River Grove, Illinois, USA
