12 oz. bottle. Pours a mostly clear dark amber with a moderate linen white head. Mild aroma of sweet malt and oats with a hint of maple. The flavor is malt, oats, brown sugar and light maple. Light-medium bodied. Unremarkable.

Bomber - Pours a darkish amber in color with a medium white head that fades to a thin covering over the beer. Aroma is malty and sweet with hints of both floral hops and the barest of maple. Flavor is a pleasant mix of slightly sweet malts (cramel, toffee) to start, a definite presence of the maple and a medium amount of hop bitterness. Finish is clean and slightly bitter. I would have thought that the oats would give it a bit more body... a bit thin... but otherwise surprisingly pretty good.

Pours to a medium amber with a decent sized head. I want to like this one right off the bat -- good aroma with some caramel, pine, and what might be a bit of maple in there but beer was too warm to really get a full picture. Regardless, good aroma. Smooth flavor with a good deal of resin present. Definitely more than I’m used to. A bit of Maple starts to come through on the finish. For a reasonably 6 pack, this is a pretty good beer, but I can’t say I’d want to go for more than like 2 or 3 of these in one sitting. I think it’s been written off a bit much by some of the other reviewers, and I say this as someone who has been underwhelmed with other Peak Products. This shows progress.

12oz bottle. Pours a generally clear dark amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of maple syrup, wood, some phenol, toffee, caramel and maybe some honey. Flavor is sweet and maltier with notes of honey, caramel, grain, wood, some hints of floral hops. Generally light to medium body with a pleasing malty finish.
