| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Bomber - Pours a darkish amber in color with a medium white head that fades to a thin covering over the beer. Aroma is malty and sweet with hints of both floral hops and the barest of maple. Flavor is a pleasant mix of slightly sweet malts (cramel, toffee) to start, a definite presence of the maple and a medium amount of hop bitterness. Finish is clean and slightly bitter. I would have thought that the oats would give it a bit more body... a bit thin... but otherwise surprisingly pretty good. nramsburg (207), New York, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 16, 2009 Pours to a medium amber with a decent sized head. I want to like this one right off the bat -- good aroma with some caramel, pine, and what might be a bit of maple in there but beer was too warm to really get a full picture. Regardless, good aroma.
Smooth flavor with a good deal of resin present. Definitely more than I’m used to. A bit of Maple starts to come through on the finish.
For a reasonably 6 pack, this is a pretty good beer, but I can’t say I’d want to go for more than like 2 or 3 of these in one sitting.
I think it’s been written off a bit much by some of the other reviewers, and I say this as someone who has been underwhelmed with other Peak Products. This shows progress.

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 27, 2008 (Bottle). Not much aroma, what there is is mildly sweet. Orange amber body, small head. Flavor is largely oats, slightest hint of maple. Cardboardish and thin. Not a winner. Headbanger (1601), Aurora, Illinois, USA

Aroma of grains, malt, caramel, and slight maple. Taste of malt, caramel, and slight maple. This medium bodied brew finishes with some bitterness. No oat flavor. Would of like more maple. A bit lacking. Skyview (4111), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 3, 2008 From a 12-oz bottle and served during the ABR ’08 in Minneapolis, MN. Pours a clear copper amber brew with an average off-white head that slowly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of caramel and biscuity malt, a touch of honey and very little maple syrup. Taste is a little gritty, medium bodied with flavors of dry caramel malt, some light fruit and a touch of maple syrup. Finish is semi-dry with a toasted caramel malt aftertaste. The maple is very light compared to most others I’ve tried but still and average specialty grain beer.
