Amber color with a moderate head of off-white bubbles and actually a few lines of lace. Caramel and maple syrup aromas. Smells like a stack of pancakes. Wow, what a plain flavor profile. Dry malt and just a hint of maple. I am assuming the maple syrup sucked out a good deal of sugars leaving a mostly dry amber flavor. Metallic finish. Boring at best.

Bomber Bottle 08’. Pours clear amber with white head that looks like it belongs on a light lager. Slight whiff of maple in the nose that barely comes through in the finish. A real disappointment this one. Bitter flavor and thin body. I taste a really strong tin like astringency. It really clings to your tounge. A waste of 4$.

Bomber from Whole Foods Portland Maine. Pours orange with an off white head. Nose is slightly oatty with some maple syrup. Some sweetness and oatyness. This is an interesting idea, the follow through could be better.

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy glowing amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of plastic, cola, caramel, and nuts. Flavor of mild hops, plastic, grain/oats, and sweet maple syrup with a metallic finish.

Pours a murky brown color with an off white head. Aroma was a nutty malts and some maple syrup. Flavor is very sweet, a lot of the maple comes out, a bit too sweet for my tastes.

i found this to be more then just a regular beer with ’organic’ stamped onto it to generate sales. the maple comes through well enough on the nose, subtle on the palate but present enough to appreciate it the small doses such a flavor would be acceptable in. by no means does it present itself as sticky or even that sweet. the character of oats was nothing wildly radical in terms of taste or mouthfeel. this beer was a bit average despite its strange ingredients but still worth a shot in my opinion.

On tap... poured dark amber with long-lasting white head. Deep aroma of sweetbread. Not much flavor at all. Slight bitter finish. This was less than impressive.

(Rating #1836)
