Clear brown color with medium offwhite head. Aroma a bit earthy hops and nut, sweet malt. Flavor reflects this. A bit watery, some slight nut undertone and definite earthy hop finish. Overall, decent enough.

Bottle from Capone’s. Dark brown pour with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma is caramel malt, walnut, almond, brown sugar, toffee. Tastes scotch malty, with toffee, brown sugar, and a becy of nut meats. Very fresh tasting, and stays rather dry throughout, with the nutty flavors staying prominent throughout.

Bottle from BevMo. Medium brown on the pour. Overly carbonated head. Somewhat metallic watery artificial chocolate aromas. Overly carbonated feel. Decent chocolate flavors. Average brown.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance :Pours clear ruby brown with thick beige cap.3+ top.
Nose :Fresh scent of aromatic alpha hops mixed with blend of brown malts. Chocolate in character.
Flavour/Palate : Slightly dry up front with bitter west coast hops. Brown malts seemed subdued by them. With time smoother cream chocolate shown. Missing typical to this style nutty flavors . Decent.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear light brown body under a foamy two finger beige head that left some intricate lacing. The nose is not very Brown Ale like, it almost has a Gueuze like quality. Sugary, musty, with some fruity malt. The taste is very earthy with dry husky malt and maybe a slight hint of infection. Minimal nutty flavor and a very light hoppiness. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with foaming active fizzy carbonation. Overall, this was just too thin and really had some odd flavors and aromas going on. Another organic loser.

Red-brown with big, foamy tan head / Minimal, faint malt nose / Medium, weak body, with no finish / Simple, thin but pleasant flavors of roast malt and nuts / Pedestrian.

Draft in Bar Harbor: Good but over priced. Not sure if it truly makes my top lists of brown ales. it has nice interpaly with the flavourings but it just does not finsih as well as i would have liked.
