Clear brown with light brown head. Very light on aroma that includes roasted malts and sweet malts. Tastes of caramel, roasted malts and burnt nut finish. A bit thin, not a big fan of this one.

Pours a clear reddish gold with a thin white head. Nose of nuts and malts. Sweeter than I expected, sweet malts, nuts, but without the tannic dry feel of some nut browns. Mouth thin. Hoppy finish with metallic off-notes.

12 oz. bottle from loose section at Sam’s Downers Grove. "Best before" 4/08. This has a good start in a nice grainy brown ale smell with a hint of walnuts. Pours perhaps light for the style, but with a good one-finger tan head. Some unfiltered bits visible in the light. Taste shows some light roastiness up front, more of that graininess. Still runs a little thin, but otherwise pretty decent. For some reason, the "certified" organic beers fall just a little short, even most beers would by definition be organic. This one is a little better than others I’ve had so far.

Bottle. Poured a deep red body with thin head. Aroma is nutty, malty with light hops. Flavor is sweet malt, nutty, light fruit. Quite good for a brown ale and very drinkable.

Poured a decent brown/amber. Aroma was creamy nuts and toffee malts. Flavor was toffee and a earthy nuttiness. Feel was smooth, but a bit thin. Not much on the aftertaste. A decent attempt, but organics always taste a bit off the mark to me.

Bottle. Amber color, beige head. Milky aroma, a bit roasted, some vanilla and cream. Malty flavor, a bit thin and I wish more was happening before the beer is over.

dark amber, full fluffy tan head. grapefruit and tea in the nose. slight hoppiness and sweet tea, but as the beer warms i detect a more leathery flavor. still sweet. kinda watery palate. not a bad entry in nut brown ale, but not rich enough for me to drink more than one.

Pours a clear dark brown color with a small head. Slight aroma of malt and nuts. Flavor is of toffee and malt with a hint of earthy/nutty flavor at the end. Nice ans smooth. Would be a ok session brew. Thanks Ubamartian!
