ucusty (1871), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Oct 24, 2009 Light copper pour with a thin white head and a short lived spotty lace. Caramel, grains, and grassy. Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Oct 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Malty caramel with some toffee, some grainy vegetative notes. A bit thin and papery, i dunno this could have been better, maybe its old. hopscotch (5440), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Oct 4, 2009 Bottle… Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is of cigarette tobacco and biscuit or toast and a rumor of black tea. Medium-bodied and lightly oily with middling carbonation. The flavor is toasted and bitter – not heavily so on either account – but bitter and tasty nonetheless. Finishes moderately bitter and drying. mesperon (133), Jersey City, New Jersey, USA Oct 3, 2009 Pale gold an clear, little bit of head. Weak malty aroma, little citrus. Medium carbonation and medium feel. Abrasive bite to start, develops inot dirty grassy, stemaed vegetable and plastic, ends dry. Not great. (Week old rating) sfhodense (554), Odense NØ, Denmark Oct 1, 2009 Golden with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel and citrus hop. Flavour is caramel, light bitter, citrus and grape hop. areyouinning (72), North Carolina, USA Sep 9, 2009 Thin looking light copper with little carbonation and small clearish lacing. Old lettuce in nose. Mild tasting, with slight hoppiness and over-ripe vegetable flavor. TURDFERGUSON (1594), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Aug 17, 2009 I feel really sorry for peoplevwho only drink organic beers. Because this selection from peak is all sorts of terrible. Nose of youguessedit diacetyl with some broken vacuum cleaner. I’m afraid to taste this after the IPA. Flavor is a tad better than the aroma with a little citrus bitterness coming through, but still mainly just butter.
