Kinda flat hoppy flavor with a light dose of citrus. Not too bad, but forgettable. LinusStick (1855), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 22, 2007 The third of the Peak Organic family that I have tried and this is head and shoulders above the rest. Aroma was very good...a lot of malt. Pour was a nice light amber with this brewer’s usual nice one finger white head. Taste was sweet and malty. Caramel malt with a wierd honey taste. Little to no hops in this one, which is a suprise but a nice change of pace. Hawksfan17 (718), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Nov 20, 2007 Pours light brown with a frothy white head that leaves spotted lacing. You can smell some hops but they are hidden by a toasted caramel malt. This beer is very malty, not what I was looking for but it didn’t taste too bad and had a nice smooth, velvety, bitter finish. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 15, 2007 Sample bottle from my distributor. Like the other two Organic beers of this line, the malt is the highlight, even in this Pale ale. Sweet, slightly floral aroma with the hops hiding begind the malt. lightly grassy hops with a hint of citrus on the palate. More malty than hoppy, though. Medium bodied. badlizard (2394), Berkeley, California, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 7, 2007 07-Nov-07 (12-oz bottle, Best Enjoyed Before July, 2007: Purchased 15-Jun-07 at BevMo in La Jolla, CA and kept in cold storage) Lightly toasty pale malt backing is nicely balanced by earthy and citrusy hops. The beer shows medium bitterness and a moderate note of honey sweetness in the finish. With each sip, something different catches my attention, which I think is an indication of decent balance. But overall, sweet and toasty malts, citrusy hops and an earthy tone seem to be the core flavors here. In the nose, toast and earth are dominant, with only a subtle note of hops in the background. Moderately carbonated and medium in body, with reasonable crispness in the finish. Amber in color with moderate haze, the beer is capped by an off-white, half-inch head that settles to a thin layer. Not a bad pale ale, but living on the west coast, I prefer my pale ales to be completely dry and this one has a bit too much sweetness, especially in the finish. Still, it has good flavor and doesn’t have the heavy grain and earth character of some organic brews. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA
