FROTHINGSLOSH (1560), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 12, 2008 Sampled on draft this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a large white head that lingers. The aroma was bitter fruity hops. The flavor was dry, bitter and buttery with a long buttery finish. Not good.
BEERGUY007 (202), Scotia, New York, USA Nov 27, 2008 The 29 this one gets as of this rating really surprised me. I don’t think these guys use preservatives, so it tastes really fresh. It was clean, full flavor of hops. Very refreshing! I will defintely get his one again, especially in the summer! zaschell (3), , Washington, USA does not count Nov 27, 2008 Definitely a hoppier pale. Bought a 6 pack. I really think this is a good Northeastern microbrew. The aroma is very weak, but the taste definitely makes up for it. beerbill (1396), Laurel, New York, USA Oct 17, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden brown with a very large off-white head that lasted through three-quarters of the glass and left big sticky clumps of foam from the initial pour. Aroma of malt with a touch of sweetenss and not much else. The flavor is malt with a bit of breadiness followed by some moderate hops bitterness. A bit dry on the palate in the aftertaste. Cheers to Shipyard for making an organic beer. ChristianScheffel (2318), Odense, Denmark Oct 10, 2008 Hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma has a little bready malt and weak citrus hops. Dry, citrus hoppy flavour, and quite bitter, not quite what the weak aroma promised. kwoeltje (1230), Manchester, Missouri, USA Sep 11, 2008 (draught) medium amber with white head and nice lace. Hops and malt in the aroma. Flavor is biscuit malt with nice hops finish.
