| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 4, 2009 Bottle… Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The aroma is of cigarette tobacco and biscuit or toast and a rumor of black tea. Medium-bodied and lightly oily with middling carbonation. The flavor is toasted and bitter – not heavily so on either account – but bitter and tasty nonetheless. Finishes moderately bitter and drying. jcwattsrugger (5374), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 4, 2006 Any first impressions?
-A veil of foam dissipates atop the clear peach golden.
-Caramel biscuity bits and piney hoppiness are laid on wet crackers.
-Nondescript, sweetish cookies are followed up by pointy hop bitterness.
-The round maltiness and tiny bubbles don’t coalesce.
What if you dig deeper?
-The salty, earthy hop bitterness is curt.
-Some citrus fruitiness is found in the nose, hiding.
-This is an APA with a simple flavor profile, not complex nor necessarily flavorful.
