Bottle. Golden with a thin white lace. Nose of pomegranate juice, wheat, butterscotch. Flavor is slightly bitter, some sweetness from the fruit, mounds of butter. Worse than expected.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Gold pour, big white head. Very carbonated. A big dose of floral hops hits followed by a good amount of wheat and some fruit and berries. Flavor is much more bitter than I expected. The hops, wheat and pomegranate make for an interesting combo. But I don’t want to drink one again.

On tap @ O’Donavan’s. Only beer they had that I haven’t had. I knew this wasn’t going to be that good but hell I’m up for a new beer seeing that the only other good beer there is SN pale ale. This poured a weak golden color with light head. Smell like wheat, malts, artificial berry (like candy), cough syrup. The taste is similar. Not alot more to say about this beer just another tick.

12 oz. bottle. Very lively pour on this beer; it aggressively overflowed the glass despite a slow pour down the side. Massive white head that faded quickly despite its size to an uneven film. The aroma is pomegranate and husky wheat grain. The flavor is exactly the same as the aroma with pomegranate and husky grains. Medium bitterness at the finish which lingers on the palate for about 10 seconds beyond the swallow.

Pours clear deep gold with towering rocky off white head. The aroma has mild sweet fruity notes and hints of dusty grainy wheat. The taste has a mild carbonation enhanced sour fruitiness that persists in the background as sweeter dark berry, sweet malts and grainy wheat well up then fade away into the finish.

Pours clear gold into a tumbler. Bright white head quickly recedes to skim surface. Sour fruit aromas. Tastes like it smells...lasting bitter root finish.

Smells a little fruity and sweet. some sediment onthe bottom of the bottle creates a swirl in the glass. First taste comes on almost like a sour lambic then goes into this alky ale aftertaste. Its almost like they forgot to throw away the pomegranite rind. Interestingly bitter follow thru. Bitterness hangs on and on, like medicine. It would be nice if this stuff remained sour like the start thru-out the whole evolution of the taste sensations. Way to bitter for a good wheat beer. Yes, they forgot to ditch the peel of the pomigranite on this one. Finish is rather rude.

Tastes and smells like fake fruit injected into a basic run of the mill american wheat. Nothing special here.
