Draft at the brewpub. Dark brown with garnet highlights. Thin tan creamy head. Buttery on the nose, along with some light plum. Creamy medium body; plums come up and give it some sweetness. Mild sweet caramel and plum finish. Minus the diacetyl butter, this would be a dandy little fruity porter.
No idea why this is listed as an ASA. Couldn’t be more of a porter if it carried your bags.

Much more like a sweet stout then a porter. Draft at the brewpub. Black body, thin tan head. Aroma is plums, chocolate, roasty goodness. Taste is plums, chocolate, roasty, old coffee. Really nice stuff here from Peaks, their best beer... If they would only do growlers of their own beer...
