I’m going to be honest and say that the only reason I went out my way to purchase this beer is because my 91 year old grandmother used to drink it and she was unsure if they even made it any longer. Sure enough, I picked up a 12 pack for $6.73 at H-E-B and enjoyed a few of these brews with aceofhearts and granny. I use the term "enjoyed" very loosely. It was just as touching to see grandma smile as the beer was bad. Minimal test, just a step up from water in my opinion. Not at all surprised by the scant abv.

Can from ericandersnavy. A damn pretty can too. Pours gold with a four finger bubbly white head. Aromas of citrus and grain. Light bodied with sort of frothy carbonation. Flavor is grainy and lightly bitter. S’ok. What does one want it a light anyway? Like it’s really late, Galaxy Quest is in my ear, and the 16 year old princess kitty* is scratching my leg. And I’ve had a lot of beer. This is a good way to wind down! *aka: The Walking Davy Crocket hat!

Something else that comes out of Texas. If I were you, I would stick to margheritas.

Can from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a very light straw yellow, tiny white fizzy head. Practically no aroma, faint corn. No real flavor in this, perhaps faint corn, carbonated water. Mouth feel is just like over carbonated water. Overall, hard to tell it’s a beer.....I see no real reason for this to be made....it’s basically near beer.....

Notes: A great beer to mix and match with sea-food or BBQ. Very light tasting (even for a light beer). A: Yellow & Gold with a decent head. S: Smells of light cereal and other grains. T: A malt, cereal, and griany taste that is pleasent and not overpowering. Very weak and light taste but compensated by a slightly sweet and fresh finish. D: Excellent drinkability. Very smooth but extremely light. Very little bitterness.
