2008-05-17. Listed as Street Brawler Stout. Very dark brown near black body, small creamy tan head. (3+) Mild sweet roast aroma, dusty malt in the background. (6+) Flavour is milder than expected, mocha roast, mild sweet malt. Light bitterness grows in the finish and lingers. (6+) Average palate is on the lighter side for a stout. Average but okay. Sampler at the brewpub.

Draught. Deep brown body with ruby along the edges and a small white creamy covering. Aroma consists of bittersweet cocoa, toast, and almonds. Slightly sour oat flavour and bittersweet chocolate are the more prominent flavours here. Finishes with coffee bitterness.
Half pint at the brewpub sometime in the fall of 2007.

Dark brown color, with a creamy tan-colored-head, leaving laces, mild beacon smokiness, with dark malt roastiness nose, faint fruity note, with a coffee, black chocolatey accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a dark roasted malt character, with a burnt toast note, dark roasted coffee bean, mild cocoa-mochaish note, with some spicy vanilla, hint of licorice, leading towards a roastiness bitterness finish.
