Commercial Description:
A mixture of malt, spice and sourness make this complex, Belgian-style Flemish ale. Notes of cherry and raisin are countered by the phenols that grant the Belgian character to this delight.

2009-12-05. Red brown body, headless. 3+ Aroma is sour cherry, modest underlying malt. 7+ Flavour is fairly sour at first, cherry, cherry pits, odd undertones. Average palate is under carbonated. Okay, decent example of the style but a bit wonky at times. Cask at Goodbar, Buffalo

Ruby body, thin off-white head. Nose is lightly acetic, some cherry, a little toffee. Flavorwise I get a lot of malt and a bunch of bitterness - neither of which I really wanted here. some acidity is hanging out but it’s buried. A bunch of fruitiness - some cherry, some green apple, comes out in the finish.

Cask @ Chelsea’s Brewing Co. in NYC this past weekend. Pours a dark reddish body with no head. The aroma is sour cherry and mild tartness. The aroma is too watery, a surprisingly big let down after taking in the aroma.
