Commercial Description:
This light-amber color Wisconsin lager is made with pure barley malt and is slowly conditioned in our lagering cellar until it reaches maturity. Lightly hopped, to allow the crystal malt and carapils to show their crisp, roasted sweetness. Available on draught year 'round.

The turd of the evening.... I poured this in my glass and before I even put it to my lips I considered pouring it out. The beer pours with a spotty head with a lightly muted orange color and a light haze. The aroma is terribly buttery with some burnt caramel crap going on. The flavor is weird, pineapple, lemon butterscotch, a basic infection city with a light hoppiness.

Bottle. Light copper to near orange colored body with an off white head. The aroma was sweet potatoes and some fresh grains. Simple, but decently pleasing grainy smells. Taste of bread crust and nasty sour apples. There is also some grass. Not good at all.

Color is a deep gold, almost orange. Nose is very mild. Light in body with a nice malty finish. I’m surprised that there isn’t much body to this beer.

Lightly hazed dark golden color modest white head. Aromas of grain, grass and a hint of lemon zest. Some toasted malt and lemon-grass hops flavors. Also some sourdough that interrupts things. The sourness does add some quenching ability but is out of place.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Festival Foods in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Pours a light copper amber brew with a thick and lumpy off-white head that has some good retention and lacing. Aroma of some dry and toasted biscuits, grassy hops, and a touch of green vegetables. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated, flavors of mostly toasted dry grain malt, a touch of burnt popcorn, grassy hops and a slight toasted marshmallows. Finish is semi-dry with a mild bitterness that turns into a toasted grain malt. Not your average lager beer.
