Commercial Description:
A deep-colored rich and delicious porter brewed with Canadian hemp seed and a bit of barley malt that has been smoked over a fire of peat moss. This is truly a taste sensation wrapped in a glass. This small-batch brew is in very limited quantity.

On draught during the Great Taste of Midwest 2009 in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours an opaque dark brown colored brew with a creamy off-white head that has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma of smoked wood, toasted dark malt, a hint of Scottish peat and some flowery hops. Taste is medium to full bodied, light in carbonation with flavors of smoked pork, toasted dark malt, some light vegetable and some earthy spice. Finish has a nice balance of bitterness and roasted dark malt with a lingering like smoked wood that slowly disappears. Could be listed as a Rauchbier though its perceptual character.
