harrisoni (5331), Ashford, Kent, England Nov 9, 2005 65cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Peppery, malty aroma which is excellent. Spicey cinnamon too. Soft in mouth. Then spicey/cinnamon finish with some candy sugar, and then hop too. Very good if uncomplicated marking (20), Denmark Jan 14, 2004 As the name reveils this is an amber ale with all its favours. Beautiful in the glass and easy-drunk as most ales, with a little sweetness. Bov (4658), Bienne, Switzerland Sep 22, 2003 clear pale amber colour, fine head and a nice lacing, deep aromatic hop aroma, subtle notes of exotic fruits, full-bodied, bitter, dry malty aromatic finish - subtle and very pleasant MiP (6018), Flensburg, Germany Feb 12, 2005 Bottle. Fruity/flowery aroma. Flavour is also fruity with some dried fruit, apricot. OK bitter aftertaste. Very nice. jbrus (4178), Delft, Netherlands May 18, 2008 Bottle@Home. Sweet, very floral. Amber color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, malty, floral, light bitter. Sticky, rather full, almost oily. Well balanced, nice flavors, bit clean. Probably one of those beers that’s underrated here simply because people think "it’sbrewed by Heineken, this must be shit".
