Pours deep lovely ruby red with a small, creamy, off-white head. Very sweet malty aroma, some brewing cereal and caramel. Medium carbonation, fair and lightly dry mouthfeel. Flavour starts sweet and malty, lightly roasted and some chocolate. Soft hoppy and flowery finish.

on tap at Pint Bokbierfestival 09, ABV 6.8%. Dark reddish brown colour, dense off white head. Aroma of butterscotch, caramel and malts. Flavour is smae, light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Too much butter..

On tap at Arendsnest, Amsterdam. Muddy brown coloured, medium sized pale beige head, slight alcoholic nose. Sweet malty, fruity and caramel with notes of alcohol and yeast. Moderate dry fruity nutty finish. Nothing special here.

From tap. Pours unclear and deep amber to brown with a dense and creamy tan head. Mild fruity and phenolic aroma and flavour. subdued sweetness with a distinct phenolic note. Dry fruity and yeasty note into the finish. Dry.

Draught at Bokbierfestival 2008. Phenolic paint thinner. Very dark brown colour. Big stable light brown head. Winegummy plastic flavour, some thinner. Strange, bad and a misunderstanding.

Bottle at Sune’s sommerhus. Clear nutbrown - white head. Sweetness, fruity, caramel, yeasty, berries, apples, light alcoholic notes, spicy. Plain and boring.

Pours a clear brown with a tanned head. Smells of caramel. Very sweet. Fruity aromas of apples. Some alcohol notes and Belgian yeasts. Sticky mouthfeel. Very dry finish.

Bottle. Semi clear and brown in colour with a medium sized head. Quite sweet with notes of yeast, spices, malt and caramel. A bit too sweet and thin bodied. Also a bit too fruity sweet to be a bock.
