Commercial Description:
A dark brown color, with a balanced aroma of roasted malts and Northwest-grown hops. The sweetness of the ale, crystal, and chocolate malts blend beautifully with the assertive flavors of Cascade and Mt. Hood hops.

Ok my second bomber bought while camping o the Oregon coast. Nice enough brew to look at , dark brown.with a fair sized bubbly tan head that went down fast but left good lacing. Nice aroma a good blend of the dark chocolate like malts and the spritzy hop. Again the taste is well balanced with the nutty, chocolaty malts dominating at first sip then the hops( Cascade and Mt Hood) assert themselves on the last section of the sip. It says this is an "American Brown Ale" on the bottle and they are not wrong..the hops are very noticable compared to the more traditional English style browns. Its ok on the palate..but maybe a little on the thin side. Quite a nice "quaffer"..I would like to taste this on tap at the Pelican someday soon.

Pours very dark red with a fluffy ivory head that leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is faint, but malty and sweet. Taste starts malty and ends with a metallicy bitterness. Very thin mouthfeel, very unimpressed. I remember this beer being better the last time i had it, very thin and bland now.

Clear black cherry-like color with good head and lacing. Malty and slightly herbal nose. Smooth malty flavor with a hop bite at the end. Light body and a dry finish.

Copper with brown hues light tan head that produces excellent lacing. Medium roaste malt and mild citrus aroma. Flavor is light roasted malt with a good dose of citrus hops. Not bad for one of my least liked styles!

Dark mahogany color with good head retention & a nice sticky film of lacing. The aroma is nicely malty with some sweet hops, dark caramel & faint roast. The flavor is also well rounded with a medium bodied finish. Good!
