Commercial Description:
Yellow in color and a little hazy in appearance because it is unfiltered, this wheat brew has a snappy but mellow flavor with a subtle spicy hints, and a smooth, slightly tart finish.

Courtesy of Skyview. Cloudy yellow color with a thin head. Lots of clove and banana in the aroma. Strong wheat flavor. Cloves and orange dominate. I don’t pick up much coriander, so this strikes me as more of a German Hefe than a Wit, but it’s still very good.

Purchased a 22-oz bomber from the brewery’s internet sales. Pours a semi-clear golden pale brew with an average off-white head that dissipates to a white ring. Aroma of golden grain malt with wheat, some banana and cloves, and some grassy hops. Taste is medium bodied, light in flavor of wheat malt, some banana, and a hint of citrus. Finish is semi-dry with a light grain and banana aftertaste that quickly disappears. Could not detect much orange or coriander in this wit, but as a German Hefe, this is pretty decent.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a wheat malty citrus aroma with hints of banana. Sweetish wheat malty yeasty citrus flavor with hints of clove and banana. Has a sweetish wheat malty finish with some hints of citrus.

[Bottle] shared by Skyview. Pours clear gold with a medium whitish head. Aroma is lots of clove and banana. Flavor is wheat malt, suntan lotion, and a crisp, light fruitiness.

Clear golden with thin white head and a fruity aroma. Tart, sour and dry. What is distracting is a musty flavor. Not sure where that comes from or why it’s there.
