Light orange-gold with thick medium-dense, light tan head. Orange peel, subtle pine, light caramel malt, and a hint of hops spice in the aroma. Flavor is very much the same--easygoing, smooth body with well-structured malt underpinnings and spicy hops and a touch of alcohol in the finish.

Amber colored. Aroma is usual PNW goodness with notes of grapefruit, pine, citrus, some caramel backing. Moderate to high bitterness, medium bodied. Nice IPA.

Dark golden, clear with a slightly off-white head. Poor retention. Having tasted this straight after a stone IPA, it was pretty easy to notice the difference between these two.. From the aroma through to the finish, this was smoother, yet fuller in mouthful and gave much more fresh hoppy notes (dry hopping with cascade shines strongly). It feels less bitter, but easily manages to assert itself as a serious IPA. A soft lime note kicks around in the finish which is delicious. Its a touch warming too. A great rounded IPA.

Courtesy darkguardian. Pours a clear golden-orange color with a thin, off-white head. Some nice cobweb lacing marks the glass well. Aromas are well balanced, showcasing juicy oranges and perfumey citrus blossoms, as well as clean, toasted bread and light toffee malts. It smells delicately wonderful. Flavors tapered off just a bit, but still impressed. Orange hops reign supreme, but are well integrated with the subtle, clean, lightly sweet malts. Medium-bodied, smooth, and very easy drinking. This is a really nice IPA, and definitely something that I wouldn’t mind substituting my usual Two Hearted for on occasion.

Bottle @ ORL throwdown, courtesy of darkguardian. Pours a fairly clear amber with a thin head. Big citrusy and floral hops a top sweet malts. Mmm, taste follows suit with big citrusy, grapefruit hops, nice sweetness, and then a strong bitter finish. Good IPA!

Courtesy Darkguardian. Pours an almost crystalline, rich yellow. Aroma is very floral, reminding a bit of jasmine or even orange blossoms. Flavor is bright and citrus, full on grapefruit. Very nice beer from a great brewery.

On tap at the NABA fest in Idaho Falls. Pours a light and clear gold with a thick white head that stays around. The aroma is very attractive; strong floral hops, just tons of Cascade hops, piny and citrus notes. The flavor was quite similar; tons of hops, spicy and sweet, balanced pretty well by a delicate malt flavor. A very good IPA. I have to visit Pacific City soon.

Bottle... SMAACMSM O-Town Throwdown, Part Sept... Clear golden ale with a small, fat-bubbled, white head. The earthy, floral nose also provides a blend of tropical fruits. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Straight-up grapefruit rind-like bitterness. Low residual sugar. Finishes bitter and a touch dry. Thanks to darkguardian for sharing the bottle!
