skoisirius (570), Seattle, Washington, USA Feb 11, 2008 Sampled: tap and bottle a few times. This is another example of what to do to make an IPA. Tons of sweet malts and hops aromas blast of this brew. The flavor is, again, what an IPA should be: resiny, citrusy, grapefruit, bitter, and balanced. Almost perfect. Definitely recommend checking out this brewery! It’s absolutely beautiful! Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Jan 1, 2008 It’s like pouring liquid amber into the glass - it’s incredibly beautiful, and the image is completed by the huge, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of spruce, grass and other more fruity and citrussy hop notes - it’s promising! The flavour has a light caramel sweetess, delicious notes of citrus, spruce, grass and it’s very clean. The citrus returns in the rather dry finish! Nice and well balanced - thank you Tom/After4ever for this nice beer! Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 18, 2007 A quintessential West Coast IPA--From a 22-oz. bottle poured a smooth amber hue with a healthy-looking medium white head that left nice lacing. Aromatic resinous piny nose. Lots of bittering hops. Grapefruity, citrusy and bold. Full, rich flavor. Waves of rich hoppiness with a hardy hoppy, floral, piny lupulin finish. Excellent example of a world class beer! Tmoney99 (4649), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Dec 14, 2007 Gift from freinds at Dilly Deli. Poured hazy copper color with an average off-white frothy head that lasted with good lacing. Solid pine and sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Heavy smooth bitter flavor with a heavy bitter finish of long duration. This is a standout beer. Dansting (222), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Nov 27, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a medium white head and good lacing. Nice aroma of hops, pine, and citrus. Good mouthfeel to it. Flavor was bursting with orange and grapefruit, and the finish had a pine-like taste to it. A very nice IPA. fakepurseninja (770), Washington, USA Nov 27, 2007 Sharp grapefruit presence with a smoothly bittered malt baseline. MIld, earthly molassas sweetness with a strong pine component but not over the top acid and resin. Looks awfully plain in the glass. Very well constructed drink, hard to find fault. pepsican (883), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA Nov 26, 2007 Poured a dark gold with little head. Hops, orage, grapfruits right up front from the pour. Has a good amount of malts thrown in to back it up when you take a sip. I’m really liking the finish, a long lasting true orange flavor. Very surprising beer. MI2CA (1260), Noblesville, Indiana, USA Sep 18, 2007 22oz - thanks Yonkers65 - Aroma is strong grapefruit and orange hops with a smooth caramel malt back. Pours dark cloudy orange-brown with a medium head and great lacing, Flavor is back and forth between hops and caramel. Fresh citrus versus earthy hops. Palate is tart and snappy. A very nice IPA
