Oct 24, 2005 My wife and I both throught this was the best IPA we had on our trip to Oregon. We had this at the Pelican on a beautiful afternoon at the beach.
Wonderful hazy orange appearance with a decent head. Serving temperature was just right. An exceptional grapefruit smell that matched the wonderful hoppy taste. Hop taste lasts throughout, but also a distinct malteness. I could drink this beer all day. Unfortunately I didn’t have any room left to bring some bombers back to Atlanta.

Oct 9, 2005 Pale amber coloured. This one is seriously hoppy. A real hopbomb in flavour. Grapefruity, citric and flowery. Overwhelming bitterness.

Oct 8, 2005 09.30.05 Tap at Falling Rock Hazed amber gold wtih thick and lasting froth of white. This was one of my favorites of the GABF weekend. Great balance all around from sniff to swallow. Plenty of lively eff to keep the palate clean. Huge IPA with thick and chewy malts, tropical fruit sweetness, lots of citrus and especially grapefruit. Sticky dry finish. Finish is long, citrus, wheatgrass. Just outstanding. I drank far too much of this goodness. The combination of peppery spice, grassy, plus citrusy hops is irresistible to me.

Oct 7, 2005 Bottled. Amber with creamy tan head. Juicy and floral grapefruit aroma, notes of pines and peaches. Dry bitter flavour of oranges and grapefruit. Long grassy bitter finish.

Asked for a hop chock at the bar and I got it. A rich flowery and grassy aroma. Despite the high BU and aroma it is quite well balanced in the malts area. Long aftertaste.

Oct 3, 2005 [At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] A hazy orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is very sweet and very hoppy. The flavor is sweet and very hoppy from a good Cascade presence - going in the citric direction, and with dry grassy end.

Oct 3, 2005 Bottled. Dark golden colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Apricot/peach and other fruits in aroma along with hops. Strong hoppy and fruity flavour. Long hoppy aftertaste.

Dark golden, nice medium-sized brownish head. Strong hayish hoppy nose. Medium-bodied. Good balance in the hopping with a late bite. Long hoppy aftertaste, some malts in it too.
