Jan 30, 2005 Bottle. Tasty IPA!!! Medium amber in color. Off-white head with minimal lacing. Very citric hop aroma. Well balanced between malt and hop. Lingering hop bitterness. Yum.

Jan 30, 2005 Bottle from wohlfs, golden amber in color, minimal to no head, medium lacing, nice aroma of hops, pine, and citrus, very nice balanced taste, first you can taste the citrus followed by pine and ends with hops and mild bitterness.

Jan 29, 2005 Pours a murky amber with a white head that leaves some lacing on the glass. Citrusy hop aroma. Taste is predominantly hops, but lacking a well-balanced malt backbone and the depth of character of the more world-class brews. Overall it has excellent hop flavor and is a very good IPA, but lacks the depth and character to be amongst the very best.

Dec 6, 2004 Lovely floral aroma, nice orange-ish color, solid head and HOPS UP FRONT & through to finish. A bit sharp on the git go, but the very pleasant malts come through even if you have to look for them a little. Hop yeh! After the delightful Tsunami will say these guys are 2 for 2 in my book.

Nov 21, 2004 Clear amber body, thin off-white head. Floral, herbal and strong hops aroma with caramely malts, also notes of pine. The strong hops carried over to the body with a very bitter citrus rind finish. Biscuity, caramely malts were amped up just enough to balance the hops. So standard an IPA though...Thanks Bill (batkins) for the bottle!

Nov 14, 2004 Very nice bronze color aroma awaits you as soon as the cap is removed. Taste of major hops with perfect balance of malts. Finish is crisp and very delightful. Thanks to Frielock!!

Nov 11, 2004 mmm, creamy sweet hop aroma, very nice creamy head, beige color. pours a lighter amber color fairly clear with good carbonation. Taste is quite good, awesome hop presence in this one, nice aromatic and floral taste to it along with great citrus hop taste, ends nice and bitter with a nice full malt body.

Oct 21, 2004 Updated: Oct 11, 2005Clear and golden with a creamy head. Very inviting nose -- hoppy, with a little yeast. Rich texture. Malts exuded with cookies and bread dough. Hops were very aromatic; notes of wafty flowers, spices, fresh-cut grass, and citrus (sweet orange and zippy lemon). Tremendous balance. Mouthwatering IPA. One of the best out there. Seriously.
