This amber ale poured with a fluffy off-white head and a fruity aroma. This is one hoppy beer, with lots of citrus notes and a very bitter finish. If you’re a hophead you will love this. Otherwise, its’s a bit too bitter.

In short: An intense and absurdly hoppy IPA. Very tasty, very bitter, totally unbalanced and very very good.
How: Bottle 22oz, tasting session with Montreal crew
The look: Clear dark golden orange body topped by a small off-white head
In long: Intense hoppy nose lying somewhere between pine-tree and citrus/orange fruits. Taste is even more intense that the nose. This is one hoppy IPA. The light sugary malts make a short appearance before being taken over by a truckload of hops that are resinous, fruity and foresty (pine-tree and cedar). Bitterness is intense and sharp and the finish is very long. I usually prefer my IPAs with more than just a hop smack in the mouth but despite its lack of malt character this one really worked for me. About as balanced as an overweight drunken redneck on a rodeo bull.

Tulip. Thanks to the girlfriend during her Pacific NW trip. :) Golden orange pour with an off white head. Looks great in the glass. Citrus hop aroma, with some floral, grapefruit, orange. Bitter smooth on the tongue, with the same flavors as the aroma would hint at. Smooth acidic palate, nice and tangy. Great beer.

If your a hop head you will love it. It puts you in that Hoppy place. Thick foamy lace that stays.Clear copper orange color. Aroma floral hoppy rose petals. The kind of smell that puts a smile on your face. You want to keep under you nose and trans port you to all the pleasant places you have been. Great balance and malt like a meal. Top 10 beer. Stinky sticky and delicious. Like sex in a bottle.

22oz bottle. Short rating... citrusy and malty nose. Malt seems to dominate over the hops. Bready. Bright orange/gold. Big white head leaving sticky lacing. Balanced flavor. Hops remain in check over the doughy and crusty malt. Some pine and citrus rind. Quite crisp. Snappy on the tongue. Refreshing even if a bit stale. Thanks Jake!

Bottle thanks to AmEricanBrew. Poured a golden color with a big white frothy head. Aroma is pine, hops, and sweet. Taste is pine, floral, and malt. Finished bitter and smooth. had a nice carbonation and drinkability.

Bottle shared by wolf... Orange in color, ok head. Aroma of sweet grapefruit and hops. Taste is super bitter, grapefruit. Even though it is malty it is a little off balanced. I am a hophead but its to much. It is a still a good beer. Medium texture. Just an average IPA...

This beer strikes me as strange in that the aroma is massively hoppy but the hops are so well concealed in the flavor that I barely notice them despite it being 80 IBUs. Such a smooth drink, very grapefruity but not in a cloying way. One of my very favorite IPAs.
