Fairly clear medium golden colored body that holds an average sized white head. Fresh grapefruit and pine aroma come easily. Plenty of body delivers a well balanced, brew that ends with a long bitter finish. Very nice IPA. You need to drink one of these just to remind yourself that Cascades hops are still doing the job as well as any of the newer hop varieties and will be around for a while with good reason.

A quintessential West Coast IPA--From a 22-oz. bottle poured a smooth amber hue with a healthy-looking medium white head that left nice lacing. Aromatic resinous piny nose. Lots of bittering hops. Grapefruity, citrusy and bold. Full, rich flavor. Waves of rich hoppiness with a hardy hoppy, floral, piny lupulin finish. Excellent example of a world class beer!

Pours dark gold with a lacy white head. Sweet grapefruit aroma with a bit of pine. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Sweet taste of citrus, fruit and toffee.

cask (RAF): People seem to really like this beer...Well not me..It had an orangy hop citrus grapefruit tinted aroma flowing from above a transparent golden color and the aroma also had notes of grass and soil..The flavor exhibits some grassy hops but the palate is lacking and the bitterness is out of control..So, if i were to break this beer down into three words Hop Flavored Water

22oz bottle from liquid solutions. Pours clear copper color with a fluffy off white head that left some spotty lacing. Nose of citrus hops and a touch of sweet malt. Flavor is big on hop bitterness while a good balance of sweet malts really makes this a well balanced and tasty IPA...

22 oz. bottle via trade with 11026 - Pours a clear amber color with an average off white head. Light carbonation. Light spotty lacing. Has a citrus and pine aroma. Flavor is citrus, caramel malt, and light esters. Has a slight astringent aftertaste. Medium body. A very good beer. Thanks Steve.

Bottle thanks to brock landers: Copper in color with a white head. Aroma, grapefruit, caramel, some pine. Flavor, earthy bitterness, some citrus, a nice malty background. Pretty good stuff.

Pours a nice orange color and is mostly opaque with a light beige head. Smell is sweet orange malt and light hops, but more malty in the nose. Taste is quite hoppy with big citrusy and bitter orange rind flavor, with malt playing much less than in the smell. Good body and carbonation, and an enjoyable IPA.
