October ’09 O-Town Throwdown, courtesy of BA trade. Pours orange, beige head. Aroma and flavor, hoppy, citrus, malts, good mouthfeel of pine and spices with hints of lingering caramel with faint bitter finish. Sweet sugary / caramel.

Sampled at Dickinsonbeer’s Hoboken gathering. Lightly hazy orange in color. Aroma- alot of citrus, earthy hops, mostly grapefruit. Taste is alot of citrus-grapefruit, lightly earthy, with a smooth moderate bitterness throughout. Nice malt backbone, medium bodied. Very straight forward but that single dimension was quite enjoyable.

Good dark amber color,Nice large white head that faded slowly and left a mild lace behind. The aroma was fruity and nicely hoppy with a decent grapefruit presence and a slight pine needle like bite. The taste nicely hoppy again with a decent amount of fruit and some what heavy feeling. The finish was hoppy bitter and grapefruit.Very nice brew and well worth having a few more. But for now i'll have to settle for the one until my next order comes in.

Bronze w. ample head. Inf your face cascade hops w. some grapefruitiness. Strong cascade presence in flavor, but a nearly sufficient malt backbone to balance.

Pours a clear orange/copper. Has a mostly orange aroma with some grass. Caramel/hop flavor that is well balanced. Finishes bitter and dry.

Amber colored. Aroma is usual PNW goodness with notes of grapefruit, pine, citrus, some caramel backing. Moderate to high bitterness, medium bodied. Nice IPA.
