From a 22 oz bottle this poured a beautiful clear light orange color with a very attractive white head and fantastic lacing. Simply beautiful. Nose of citrus hops and fruits, with hints of pine. A treat for the nose. Mouthfeel is medium bodied but very smooth. Flavor is a good as the aroma, with much of the same great hops. Long light bitter finish makes this one of the easiest drinking IPAs I have ever seen. A simply wonderful brew and darn I only had one bottle. Got to get more.

Thanks to wohlfs and Pailhead for this fine brew. Pours bright copper/orange color with a filmy head with a ring of bubbles. Spotty lacing. Aroma was huge citrus, mostly orange and grapefruit, nice malt backbone. Flavor again tons of citrus, plenty of residuel hop esters. Not a whole lot of malt shows in the flavor profile, but doesn’t seem unbalanced at all. Hop aftertaste lingers quite awhile. Well done.

22ouncer courtesy of KenB. Yum. My favorite IPA that Ive tasted is Racer 5, and this stuff is equally good. Nose is familiar-floral hops, a little fruit, sweet malt. intense hop flavor that balances well with cirtus accents and a light yet present malt backbone. in other words, great balance. My new favorite session ipa. But I cant get it in NC, or Racer 5. :(

On tap at the NABA fest in Idaho Falls. Pours a light and clear gold with a thick white head that stays around. The aroma is very attractive; strong floral hops, just tons of Cascade hops, piny and citrus notes. The flavor was quite similar; tons of hops, spicy and sweet, balanced pretty well by a delicate malt flavor. A very good IPA. I have to visit Pacific City soon.

Bomber courtesy of writerljberg – thanks Luke! Pours a glowing dark gold with a 2 finger dense off-white head that lasts throughout the entire glass and leaves spotty lacing. The nose is sweet ripe citrus and caramel malt. The taste is toffee, tangerine, orange peel and tart yellow grapefruit in the finish that lingers. Medium mouthfeel. Solid IPA – thanks again Luke.

From a 22 oz. brown bomber bottle with a blurb on the back, no bottled/freshness date. Made a very good appearance, poured a cloudy reddish copper orange with a fluffy white head that settled into a thin lacing, minimal amount of sticking, good carbonation. Had a tasty nose of caramel malts and citric zesty, spicy and floral hops. A crisp, nicely hop textured and smooth medium bodied mouth feel, easy AIPA drinkability. Delicious tasting, citric zesty and spicy, a pronounced, but rolling hop bitterness on the tongue, not a coarse taste killer, but slightly numbing, a struggling caramel maltiness that stays just below the hops, and a dry hop resinous and caramel malty finish with a citric leafiness lingering in the palate. One of the best AIPA I’ve had the pleasure to sample, easy to see why this is a award winner, if you’re a fan of IPA’s, then this is a must try.

22oz bottle 4/17/09 (Sam’s Wine & Spirits-Downers Grove)-Pours a clear dar golden/ligh amber with a big tight off white head which emits an aroma of citrus and hops. Taste begins with citrus and hops then comes some malt and caramel and it finishes dry. This medium bodied brew is pretty unbalanced but tastes great. Look forward to more brews from these guys.

Bottle Pours a hazy light golden orange witha large dense beige head. Lots of clinging lacing. Very sharp up front pine like hop aroma. Flavorsa were not as hoppy as I expected but apropriate for the style. Not much of a malt backbone but a nice flavor overall. Palate was rich and smooth and there was a quite sharp bitterness at the end.
