Perfumy slightly oxidized fruity hop aroma with light caramel. Flavor is chewy piney hops, sweet caramel, fairly full flavored, nothing special here. Medium bodied with a full fluffy carbonation. I’m sure this is probably much better from the pub.

Awesome chewy cascade flavor and an in-your-face aroma that draws the drinker right into the glass. I’m really enjoying how incredibly fresh these IPAs are during my visit. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 8, 2009 Lots of orange/grapefruit herbal hop character in the aroma. Light malt sweetness, scrubbed away by a very nice citrus hop brillo pad. Well balanced. Very nice. TheEpeeist (1492), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 25, 2008 Bottle. Aroma huge hops, mostly floral and herbal at first, good amount of pine as well, grapefruit appears upon warming. Flavor follows suit, very bitter. Extremely bitter. Not lacking bready malt, but my goodness, this is powerfully hoppy, powerfully bitter. If part of this bitterness is astringency, it’s welcome. Grating on the tongue. A truly in-your-face IPA.
