| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 23, 2009 Bottle via adam from BA. Pours a beautiful, lightly hazy, copper color, with a dense pillowy beige head. Aroma is nice mix of pine, floral, spicy, citrusy hops, light caramel. Flavor is again floral, spicy, musty, piney hops, decent caramel backbone. Palate is medium bodied, medium carbonation, finished sticky and nicely bitter. Great stuff, just what I needed! pepsican (885), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 26, 2007 Poured a dark gold with little head. Hops, orage, grapfruits right up front from the pour. Has a good amount of malts thrown in to back it up when you take a sip. I’m really liking the finish, a long lasting true orange flavor. Very surprising beer. mgermani (864), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 20, 2009 Pours a crystal clear rosy copper with a decent head and some marvellous laceing. Aroma consists of plenty of bitter, oily pine. Yum! Very dry, bitter taste - light biscuit character. Good amount of sweetness upfront, but is consumed by dry hop notes and alcohol - scotch like in terms of dry heat. Great carbonation, crisp body. This is splendid! Reminds me of all those over-the-top IPAs I enjoy when visiting the US. I suspect this would age well. GMCC2181 (861), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

Taste is super bitter, grapefruit. Even though it is malty it is a little off balanced. I am a hophead but its to much. It is a still a good beer. Medium texture. Just an average IPA... mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia

Didn’t get much sweetness, pretty much immediately bitter. Long hoppy finish and fairly thick texture. Not bad at all but may not win a champion award at a better show. nolankowal (850), Columbus, Ohio, USA
