Very hoppy aroma, but there is also a balance with fruity notes from peach, apples and citrus. Extremely hoppy flavor, grassy and dry, but also with some fruits showing. Very nice. ratman197 (3266), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 9, 2007 Bottle courtesy of 11026. Vintage 2006. Pours a clear sparkling amber-orange with an average size lasting beige head. Aroma: Oh yeah that’s nice! Lots of Cascade hops (possibly my fave hop) nicely backed by sweet malt and fruit -- Interestingly the aroma changes slightly each time I smell it, one minute it’s mild the next it isn’t. Delicious flavour starts off nice and juicy with citrusy and floral hops followed by just enough sweet malt and a big bitter finish -- all very well balanced. Alcohol’s totally hidden. Great body. Simply an awesome IPA -- more please!! KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway

First class IPA. Tons of hops explode in the mouth. Sweet malt uenderneath, but the hops win the battle and linger on for a long time. TomDecapolis (3216), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA

Flavor of pine, mixed citrus, nice and hoppy, caramel, lightly toasted malt and moderate hop bitterness. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA

Poured a small ivory head, very little carbonation, fair amount of lacing, transparent, and a golden orange hue. The aroma consisted of caramel, citrus hops, pine, orange, and grapefruit. The flavor was caramel, grapefruit, citrus hops, malt, and a nice bitter finish. Tingly mouthfeel and medium bodied. A very drinkable and enjoyable IPA, nicely done and worthy of a try. daknole (3030), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

Long lasting head. Heavy lacing. Gold beer. Huge pure hop aroma. Some breweries would call this an Imperial. Got to be a hop lover to enjoy it. Not for the timid. Enticing sweetness puts in a noble effort against the strong hop bitterness.
