An awesome West Coast IPA. Both wonderful on tap at the brewpub (the view is even better than the beer) and in the bottle. Another great example of a great Cascade hop driven beer.

Fairly heavy palate. Very full flavored and well balanced with sweet malt and loads of hops. Dark orange color. Citrus, especially grapefruit in the finish.

Ok beer bought while camping near Newport,OR. Comes in the usual plain brown Pelican bomber. Very nice looking ale when poured, its slighly darker than the usual IPA..almost amber with a huge creamy/frothy off white head Wonderful spicy hppy aroma.Very pungent but extra fresh. Mm this is a "hop heads"IPA..very strong Cascade hop presence..though there is a noticable malty background..but really its hops, hops, hops on this baby. Very nice and smooth on the palate, nice warm after taste. Nice and drinkable especiually after drinking "swill".

Clear pale orange color with a good head and lacing. Nice citrus/floral nose. Nice grapefruit/pine notes in the bitterness. Finish is dry. NIce IPA From the bottle 7 months later. Great color, aroma, and flavor! It holds up like a champ. More of a lingering bitterness than I remembered. Good IPA.

Clear light amber with a thin, solid head. Hop aroma jumps from the glass - heading more towards the mature, woody US hop end of the spectrum and away from the raw freshness that I know this stuff can have, but it’s there with a similar aroma to that of lupulin glands rubbed on your fingers. Lychees, tangerines and pine all get a run with a touch of that sweetish US malt aroma you get in a lot of these IPAs. The hop flavour seems a little subdued and the malt sweetness comes through reasonably well, but it’s still skewed towards hops. Oily, hand cream hop flavour and icing sugar maltiness followed by a big, aggressive, clean bitterness. Really good, but I’ve had this stuff fresh and it’s even better.

Orange/amber color. Very hoppy aroma, but there is also a balance with fruity notes from peach, apples and citrus. Extremely hoppy flavor, grassy and dry, but also with some fruits showing. Very nice.

Fairly clear medium golden colored body that holds an average sized white head. Fresh grapefruit and pine aroma come easily. Plenty of body delivers a well balanced, brew that ends with a long bitter finish. Very nice IPA. You need to drink one of these just to remind yourself that Cascades hops are still doing the job as well as any of the newer hop varieties and will be around for a while with good reason.

2005 Vintage bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, his bottle via Blankboy. Deep orange, big fluffy orange tinted head. Strong aroma of malt, resiny hops. Very rich, but not too in your face. Strong hops in taste, very very spicy and peppery. Lots of citrus along with substantial malt body and a touch of alcohol. Very spicy alcohol burn in the finish - very long finish. Quite balanced really, and as it heats up, you’d almost think it was a IIPA, as it is quite assertive. Just a little too much burn as it sits, otherwise, extremely good.
