Dank and superfruity. Like a fresh squeezed glass of orange-juice, or some reduced tangerine, or lime peel. WoW. Pours a crystal clear pale orange-amber, with a nice lacey head. Flavor: damn. This is solid, rock solid. A really crisp, snappy fresh hop flavor plays off of biting, balanced bitterness and a solid tooth of malt. Leafy, minty, and resin-filled hops make a nice profile and a solid, solid rounded palate. Flavorful, rich, balanced, and drinkable. Everything a really well-built IPA should be. Excellent. This has a great fruity ester that compliments the floral and fruity notes of the hops very well. Balanced without a lingering bitterness there is a decidely sweet malt backbone that supports the hops perfectly. Maria (6341), Thisted, Denmark

The aroma has notes of spruce, grass and other more fruity and citrussy hop notes - it’s promising! The flavour has a light caramel sweetess, delicious notes of citrus, spruce, grass and it’s very clean. The citrus returns in the rather dry finish! Nice and well balanced - thank you Tom/After4ever for this nice beer! Snojerk321 (2034), San Diego, California, USA

Pours clear copper color with a fluffy off white head that left some spotty lacing. Nose of citrus hops and a touch of sweet malt. Flavor is big on hop bitterness while a good balance of sweet malts really makes this a well balanced and tasty IPA... JCB (1799), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Every time I order from Liquid Solutions I try to get one of these beauties. Just about as good a NW hop bomb IPA as you could like, with a sweet orange body, frothy head, huge citrus nose and a gorgeous malt backbone. Very nicely tart and resiny, and consistent as hell. Just an awesome brew. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA

There is a two-finger ivory head that is dense, rocky, long-lasting, and leaves interesting pictograph-like lacing on the glass. The aroma is citrus and pine with some toffee maltiness. The flavor is clean and satisfying with lots of grapefruit and pine hops, a moderate bitterness, and just enough toffee maltiness to provide the necessary balance. There is a long, pleasing bitter finish hightlighted by citrus (grapefruit and tangerine) hop flavors. This is an extremely easy to drink IPA despite its higher alcohol content (no alcohol is noticeable in the flavor!). This beer has a medium-full body and is very smooth and mellow on the palate. India Pelican Ale is an excellent IPA.
22 oz bottle from trade with kenb (Oct 2006). Thanks Ken. I appreciate it! Rating #173 for this beer... kenb (1101), Oregon, USA

Pours a clear copper color with a large head that leaves a lof of lace as it slowly dissipates.Nice hoppy aroma with notes of orange, grapefruit, lemon, butterscotch, and subtle caramel malt backbone. Medium bodied and carbonated just right. Starts out with a sweet caramel/molasses flavor, then turns to a strong orange and finishes with a hoppy bitter grapefruit mouth-puckering bitter. Just very nice and makes me smile. The cascade hops are barely kept in check here! Actually, no they aren’t, lol..does have the bitter grapefruit rind finish.. Very piney up front, virtually no head as poured from the bottle. Toasted caramel malt in the background. Flavor is a one-two punch of pine and then citrus, with a well-rounded bitter finish.
