Mar 13, 2006 A bit of tangy sour bing cherries and vinous stone fruits, and then a bit of woodiness in the background. The malt characteristic is full rich and sweet, this is all over the place taking davantage of every bit of your palate. This is quite yummy!

Mar 1, 2006 Dark golden-amber colour. Port, rum, pinot, molasses and wood mix very cohesively in the aroma, with an almost tobacooey note. Full, fat, tangy body with a great pinot/molasses note, subtle wood, late alcoholic dryness and a hint of vinous tartness. So fruity, so malty and dry to boot...oh, shit, that’s good beer.

Feb 19, 2006 Draught at the brewpub. Clear ruby, small lasting head. Aroma of toffee and oak. Fruity and sweet with near full body. The vinous barrel character is light and delightfully balanced. Lingering salty bitter finish.
