Commercial Description:
Stormwatcher’s Winterfest is the perfect brew to savor on a stormy Oregon Coast day. Its deep amber-red color, massive toasted malt, toffee and caramel aroma, and full-bodied malty flavor lead to a smooth, soft and warming finish. The floral aroma and flavor highlights come from Hersbrucker hops, while a toasted malt sweetness balances a mild, subtle bitterness in the finish. Its big, rich flavor makes it the ideal complement to nasty weather!

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruit, caramel, and pumpernickle bread, as well as lighter notes of prunes, leading to a slightly alcoholic finish.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear, deep, amber golden with a beige head. Fat aroma of caramel and overripe fruit and also some oily aroma hops. Quite full-bodied with plenty of burned caramel, vanilla and overripe fruit. There’s a distinct and warming alcohol burn. 191207

Slightly ruby accented brown body. Chewy dark cherries and brown sugar with a hint of pear. Wow - this is BIG - bigger than the others I had with Per at the brewpub a couple of years ago one fine Tuesday morning. Loads of brown sugar, alcohol, cherry, wood. Rich dark sugars in the burly, warming finish. Winter is surely the time to visit Pacific City.
