Jul 23, 2005 Tap. Light golden colored with a long lived white head which leaves great lacing. Nice crisp hop aroma, citric, a bit dry smelling if that is possible. Light bodied. Drying on the palate. I don’t get the biscuit from the Maris Otter. Well hopped with malt just hanging in there to balance the citric hop burps. Nice for the style.

Jul 28, 2008 OBF, tap... Poured hazy yellow/orange with a white head. Aroma of spicy esters and yeast strains with some bananas. I was really into this golden, as much as I’d hate to admit it. Had pretty consistent banana flavors with sweet, caramel malt and some hops for an edge. Very similar to a wheat beer.

Sep 27, 2008 [Bottle] shared by Skyview. Pours a clear gold with a soapy whitish head. Medium floral and noble hop aroma without much malt. Very hoppy flavor, really nice and crisp and light and refreshing. A touch earthy.

Sep 29, 2008 Courtesy of Skyview. Gold color with no head. Light aroma of lemon. Light grain taste, finishing with some crisp citrusy hops. Pretty easy going all around, but definitely enjoyable.

Nov 20, 2008 Purchased a 22-oz bomber from the brewery’s internet sales. Pours a clear golden pale straw brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of golden grain malt with some lemon zest, and some grassy hops. Taste is light bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of golden grain malt, lemon zest and a touch of vegetable. Finish is light, crisp with a clean cut aftertaste with minimal bitterness.

Pours light golden with an abundant white head. Crackers and white-bread dough in the aroma, a bit of humus and lemon. Toasty, bready flavors with a mild witbier sourness again citrus hints. Not a hoppy ale in the least, nor malt-heavy, this is a relatively clean and enjoyable if unexceptional golden ale.
