harrisoni (4896), Ashford, Kent, Kent, England May 9, 2008 500ml bottle from the Deli at the end of Chris_o’s road. Black with thin deep beige head. Lots of choc and coffee on aroma. Probably the best of these beers that I’ve had. The dark choc is reasonably intense without being overly bitter. I would expect it to be stronger than 4.5%. Maybe it lacks a bit of depth in the mouth. Good spicey finish. An elegant flavourful stout.
dunkpigen (243), Kolding, Denmark Jul 14, 2008 Bottle. Pours black with no head. Aroma and flavour of burned malt and chocolate, but also a bit sour and week.
