(bottled conditioned)Black as shit with lefeless beige top. This is a slick stout. Pure chocolate characters. Dark fruit like black cherries you find forest gatteo. Subtle roastiness.some burnt toast .I could sink loads of this.

Bottle from Bacchus, Crickhowell. Dark, opaque brown with a slight oil slick for a head. Aroma of malty grains, dark chocolate and liquorice. Full, slightly vinous mouth feel. Flavour of chocolate, some roast malts, a hint of sourness and dry finish. Good stuff.

Bottle shared by gethinbeer. Deep black beer with a thin white head. Aroma is loaded with rich cocoaish/chocolate. A light wheaty spiciness lies behind this. Soft earthy accent on the back. There is a touch of nuttiness in the malts as well. Fairly low roastiness, but there is a lot of chocolate and some berryish fruitiness. Quite a lovely simple stout.

From bottle. Roasted malt, berries in the aroma. Black in colour with a thin tan head. Smoked malt flavour, sweet fruit hints. Smooth texture. Very enjoyable stout.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a diminished tan head. Vague roasted malty aroma with a ligt acdic touch. Hard roasted malty with a light acidic note coming through. Mild bitter and with a mild chocolate smoothness. Acidic and roasted malty finish. Nice and dry.

Bottle 50 cl. Slightly hazy dark brown with an orange hue and completely lacking any head. Aroma of nuts and hard roasted malts - never burned though. Medium body, completely flat, hard roasted malts, dried fruit, and licorice. Light malt bitterness in the finish. 301108

Bottle. Pours black with no head. Aroma and flavour of burned malt and chocolate, but also a bit sour and week.
