Bottle. Poured dark brown with a moderate head. Slight whiffs of malt were detectable. Mild flavor was burnt caramel & malt w/traces of hops. Mouthfeel was very watery. Not much aftertaste other than a very slight bitter malt. All in all very average.

This was a nice surprise. It poured dark brown and showed a large firm head. It has notes of light caamel and molasses but the flavor offered a great complexity. It had notes of burnt coffee, molasses, dark chocolate and malt. Almost porterlike this dark lager really offerd these flavors in a crsip and smooth manner!

Pour is dark brown with a decent tan head of short duration. Aroma is mild with roasted and caramel malts. Flavor is equally mild with a touch of roastedness at the finish.

12oz bottle pours dark brown with a short offwhite head. Nice aromas of raisin, roasted malts, caramel, and a kiss of chocolate. Flavor is caramel, roasted malts, chocolate, and raisin. Palate is fairly smooth with medium body. A pretty easy drinking lager here. I enjoyed it..

Bottle and served in a Penn pint glass. Aroma was nice, some roasted malt, some dark fruit. Mouthfeel is slightly creamy, but then finishes slightly watery. Flavor is like the smell; above average for the style.

Pours a dark brown color with a light tan head. Aroma is of slight roasted malts, caramel, and some floral hops. Flavor starts off with the roasted malts that give way to some dark fruit, caramel, and floral hops. Somewhat dry on the finish. The flavor is a little too thin.

Nice dunkel here, on the malty side with some woodiness and pine with a little toasted sweetness. Thin. Highly drinkable.
