Munich and various roasted malts give it a very malty, rich flavor with a hint of burnt flavor. 100% imported Hallertau hops, moderate bitterness and aroma.

This lager poured a nice brown colour with almost no head. Even after a vigourous pour. Scents include smoke, caramel and bread. First sip was nice with flavours of sweet roasted malts and a little smoke flavour too. The finnish is sweet and the palate is a little bit floral.

Bottle; Nose of butter and caramel; brown with a medium, long-lasting, glass-lacing beige head; taste is tingly, buttery, and caramelly with a tiny bit of hops in the finish.

Pours dark brown and translucent with minimal beige head. Has a mild toasty aroma with similar smoky taste. Finishes sweeter than I would have guessed. Nicely balanced and very drinkable. Overall, very solid, but nothing special. So far one of my favorite dunkels- not too sugary.

Dark reddish brown. Low amount of head. Aroma is like a heath bar - toffee, chocolate. I wish I had one to share with this beer. Also some cinammon in there. Malty palate , creamy, clean finish.

Dark amber color with brown head. Aroma is light with hints of roasted malt and maybe fruit. The malt flavor starts off roasted and caramel and then turns more pale and grainy. I also get a hint of yeast and spice from the hops.

Bottle. Very dark amber/ clear brown with a cream colored foamy head. Honey-nut cereal and caramel malt aroma and flavor. Hops noticeable on the finish. Thin and a little overcarbonated. Nothing special.

Sampled at the brewfest in Adamstown. Pours amber with a beige head. Aroma of roast and caramel. The flavor is caramel, sweet, and bitter. good beer.

Very nice munich malt based beer, slightly sweet munich malt aroma with a noble hop aroma as well. Slight burnt flavor was too acidic and counteracted the nice rich sweetness. Body was full for a lager and pleasing.
