12 oz bottle. Pours mahogany brown with a nice lacy khaki head. The aroma is light spice with some ash and toffee, and a distant fusel note. The flavor is light pepper, toffee, ash, and roasted barley. The finish is pretty clean with an ever so slight floral note. There’s a brief pop of something in the aftertaste that I don’t like, peanut oil or something. Drinkable overall though.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: clear dark brown, good color with deep ruby light shown trough. Medium large creamy tanned top was presented.
Nose: Roasted barley, milky feel with of hop. Fairly soft nose.
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied. Soft , silky , clean and smooth. Solid soft roast notes of toasted barley. Gentle richness with great thirst quenching qualities. Quiet greatness. With time on edges you shall spot some hops. Light, gentle dark lager brewed with precise balancing hand.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours cola brown with a thin beige head. Light malty aroma, a touch roasty. The flavor is also on the light side. Roast, caramel, and nuts. Good, very drinkable.

Bottle and draft. I’m kind of stunned that this isn’t rated higher. Nice roasted taste especially on a hot day. Not much of head though, dissapates very fast. Good aroma of roasted malt.

Bottle courtesy of Summer SS. Sweet candy aroma lights up the nose. Brown body with red hue and tan head. Sweet candy sour with moderate bitter. Light roast on palate but sweet and sour for the most part. Thanks Santa

Dark brown color with a caramel head. Little bit of roasted malt in the aroma. Some caramel flavor. Not offensive.
