Bottle. Strong golden pour with a small white head. Nose is grassy hops, buttery malts, light bready notes, soft honey and some metal. Taste is grassy hops, straw, cereal, yeast and buttery malts. Hint of honey comes through here too. Body is medium with a fairly strong and bubbly carbonation. Ends with more cereal, yeast, grass, straw and floral hops. Malts fade here as does the honey. Bit more bitter during the finish than the flavor as a whole.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a very thin white head and a few bubbles rising from the bottom - doesn’t look too good. Aroma of somewhat stale malt, a dose of hops, yeast, wheat and a ton of lemons. Light-bodied; Super mild malty taste coupled with some light coriander seed and lemony sweetness in the taste. Aftertaste shows basically nothing - hardly any tastes at all. Overall, very mild, almost non-existent when th taste is had. Definitely worth passing on this, but I was happy to try this beer regardless. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in McLean, Virginia on 01-March-2008.

This beer was exactly what I expected. A very crisp looking and crisp tasting brew that pours a pale golden color with minimum head. Heavily hopped floral aroma, smooth palate, and average flavor. A refreshing drink on a warm day and perfectly complemented my cigar.

Pours a slightly foggy straw gold. Nice crème head. Nose is uneventful. Can’t seem to pull anything off of it. Flavor is pretty grain toned. Seems to be a steady and consistent with nice thick malt character to it. Feel is good on the liquid and the same on the carbonation. Overall very drinkable. Well made and goes down fairly easy, though the body is a bit thicker than the standard boring old lager. I can’t say I would go for it again (not my style...), but it is definitely well made.

Bottle. Pours an uninteresting gold color with a bit of a fizzy white head and aromas that promise a touch of spicy hops and some corn-like malt. Body and flavor are similar and totally uninspiring. Could be worse, but borders on macro-swill.

12oz. Bottle: Herbal aroma of malts and yeast. Poured light gold in color with a small white head that diminished immediately. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of corn, honey, hops, and malts. Light to medium body. Average texture. Average to lively carbonation. Corn finish.

Bottle: Apt name for this yellow-gold beer with a thin wisp of stickiness across the top. The aroma is crisp but starchy and somewhat corny. Drinks with a Germanic hoppy sting, but primarily a grassy, malty beer. Pretty decent brew. (#3237, 12/6/2007)
