2005 bottling…
Pours a glowing amber body and a fluffy cream hued head. The aroma and flavor are initially sweet, brown sugar, plums, caramel, and a hint of toffee, breakfast syrup, there is a very minute smokiness. Then noted a light bitterness, applesauce, and lemongrass, something that is lightly herbal… leaving a very crisp and clean finish. . This seems to be a rather simplistic brew, a very effortless quaff.

I found this beer very drinkable because its not extremely tasty. It definately has Octoberfest qualities such as a toasty malt sensation but nothing sensational. Its not bad either. I tasted this beer in a sampler case with 4 other beers and feel it is was one of the best but not up to the par of the St. Nick beer.

Not too special, but not too bad either. A decent malt taste that was pretty clean finishing.

Amber colored, with aroma of malt, caramel, toffee, and some hops. Tastes malty, with some caramel, brown sugar, and finishing hints of fruit.

12oz. bottle: This one appeared pretty much a clear amber color. There was a strong head on it, but it went away rather quickly. The aroma was a bit light, but it was malty sweet with a hint of spiciness. A decent malt body with a touch of spices to the taste. Goes down smooth. Very drinkable, but nothing special.

Slightly hazy golden colrow with a thin head on top. The aroma is a bit on the sweet side, mostly malty. The flavor has a good malty begenning, wiith some leafy notes, a bit of honey and citrus and then an ending hint of hops. Not a bad showing for a lager, very drinkable, and has a bit of sublty.

Light malty aroma, sweet, with fruity hops. Medium dark clear amber with thin head. Medium light carbonation with medium watery body. Good fruity malts with crisp acidity. Light hoppy fruity nutty taste. After is neutral fruity, nutty. Light bitterness. A very nice oktoberfest.

Had this on draft. Not too bad of a beer here. Couldn’t really figure out the aroma but there was something there. Had a great aftertaste that left you wanting to have some more.
