12 oz. Clear, burnt orange-topaz with a sticky three-finger head that lasts forever and frosts the pint glass. Aroma is spicy grain, honey and a touch of dry grass. Flavor is rough grain, honey and apple. Finish of light citrus, cardboard and cocoa provide balance. Light-medium body is smoothly carbonated and finishes just dry.

Garnet pour with frothy off white head. Caramel aroma. Grainy flavor with a little hop to balance it.

Draft. Pours deep reddish brown with an off white average head. Body a bit thin, finish is bitter to the point of sourness. Best not stand alone, may be more enjoyable with roasted brats to compliment the strong finish.

Pours a deep copper color with almost no head whatsoever. Very subtle malty aroma. Flavor is heavily bitter and does leave some sourness. Body is medium. Not a bad beer, but certainly nothing to write home about.

medium brown with decent white head. flavor of some crystal malt, but an uncomfortable hop bitterness that leaves a sour taste in the mouth. not enough malt for a marzen. unfortunately, it’s pretty standard for the brewery

Bottle sampled at a cigar event. Pours a clear copper color with a slightly off-white foamy head. It’s pretty small and gone after a few seconds. The flavor is very grainy, with some heavy brown sugar sweetness, and just a hint of bitterness. Medium body. Leaves a nice sweetness. You can sense a little bit of alcohol in the finish, but it is pretty smooth for 6.5 ABV. A decent and drinkable beer, but not outstanding.

Bottle. Pours with a small head and clear body, ruby in color. Hints of molasses, toasted grain, butterscotch, and maple syrup. Soft on the palate with average duration and light bitter finish. Good representation of an Oktoberfest beer and I would drink it again.

This is one of my favorite beers. Has the perfect balance of malt and hops. Has a slight bitterness and a bit of a dry aftertaste. This is the only beer I will buy till St. Nick comes around.
