| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Bottle, pours a clear bronze gold with amber at the edges, has an off-white head that thinned to a cover, left some lacing on the glass, aroma of faint toasted malt along with bread and bread crust sweetness, flavor of malt and toasted malt with little sweetness on the palate, a medium or a bit less hop bitterness and ends mostly dry, more bitterness then I prefer, too much hops or roasted malt bitterness, otherwise a good Octoberfest Beer, has a medium mouth feel, 6.5% alcohol is concealed well in this beer. dkachur (2404), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jun 26, 2008 Quality marzen. Goes down smooth, but has an undistiguishable taste from other marzens. Hides the 6.5% ABV well. Good smell, quality. spagyetti (68), Puyallup, Washington, USA

A well played "Roktoberfest" Pittsburg has a handful or so of bragging rights, But when they do. Look Out! Quite possibly one of the top ten on the East Coast! | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 27, 2008 Admittedly this is a nice beer, but I did not love it. It is aroma, is full of mellow, but very full hops. It’s a nice amber color, with a decent head. It tastes nice, with distinct hops, and roasted malts, a bit tart. It seemed to be a chore to drink this. I did not love it but, need another chance to re-evalutate it. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light amber color with a white head. Aroma is of malt and some mild hops. Flavor is light hints of caramel, a little roasty and finishes with a mild hop bite. Its nicely balanced, not bad. Goodgrief (1153), Middletown, Delaware, USA
