From bottle... poured gold with small head. Weak aroma, weak taste. Had some bite, which was the only sign of life in this beer. I could probably pound ten of these while sitting at a fire in the fall and be happy, so it has it’s place.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Steel City Saloon - 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden with a slight white bubbly head. Faint aroma of fresh lake water, not much else. Standard stronger lager flavor with some very brief ripening vegetable notes and just a smidgen of caramel. Mouthfeel is a bit too spritzy for the style. Very average and slightly bland.

Pretty average. Less malty than traditional Marzens, but very sessionable and refreshing. Somewhat watery.

Not bad for a Penn brewer. This craft lager is smooth yet bitey. Nice strong blend of malts for a beer good for bbq accompaniment.

This was a decent oktoberfest...I may have had an older bottle. I will re-rate at another date.

Crystal clear light amber coloured body with a super thin white head and a few bubbles faintly skimming up to the top. Aroma of metal, stale malt, light hops, nuts and a very tiny amount of apples. Light-bodied; Super bland metallic taste up front with some malt and nuts following afterwards. Aftertaste shows malt with very little else. Overall, this is a very big disappointment - I was expecting much more. Not a good beer for the style and should definitely be passed up unless you really can’t get anything else! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Norm’s in Vienna, Virginia on 11-November-2007.

Bottle. Translucent amber body with almost no head. Aroma is grainy with soft corny syrup notes, light grass and soft citrus. Taste is a bit more Euro hop centered while retaining the grains, grass, and soft lemon. Light biscuit notes as well. Body is smooth but rather under-carbonated. Light-medium overall feel to it. Ends with more grains, grass, biscuits, light lemon and a hint of tea.
