cloudy orange hue with a medium layer of white head, it has a fruity nose of banana and clove. the flavor is slightly spicy with hints of coriander and cinnamon. the wheat profile is pleasant but the balance is slightly off and results in a less than great aftertaste. overall a decent wheat.

Draught: Medium sweet aroma. Smells very malts with notes of cloves. Poured a darker brown color with a tiny off-white head that diminished immediately. Sparkling. Opaque. Medium sweet flavor. Tastes malty with notes of cloves, bubblegum, and pepper. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malty, bubblegum finish.

Draft @ HDG. Other than the too much banana, this stuff is good. Some creamy caramel and chocolate goes nicely with the fresh flavorful hops and a bit of orange peel. Just a bit of spice as well.

Draught at Capone’s. Clear, dark golden body with a frothy off-white head. Sweet apple and banana esters in the aroma, with notable wheat characters that have a pale, nutty element. Moderately sweet and somewhat estery, but lacks the depth of malt and yeast of classic weizen bocks like Aventinus. Not particularly flawed, but fairly insipid.

Sampled at Capones on Allagash night with Stegosaurus. Brown pour with hints of banana and clove aromas. Mouthful of bread. It was ok for me.

[Draft @ Capones] Poured a hazy amber color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of light banana, toffee malts, caramel, clove, and light citrus. Taste of peat smoke malt, caramel, nuts, citrus fruits, more banana, with a bit of cardboard, and some alcohol in the finish.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours ruddy muddy medium brown, with off-white head. Aroma of banana, clove, malt, more spices. Tastes banana and clovey up front, giving way to malt, some brown sugar, and some floral and spicy finishing notes.
