Poured a small white head with poor retention span, transparent, visible carbonation, one ring of lacing, and a yellow hue. The aroma was grainy, malty, sweet, fruity, some spice, and a hint of hops. The flavor was sweet, malty, fruity, toffee, and had some crispness to it. The mouthfeel was tingly and is a medium bodied beer. An easy to drink beer, nothing really knocked my socks off about this beer as it is definitely not a beer that is high on my list of one of the better beers that I have drank/rated, but it was somewhat refreshing on a hot humid sunny Southwest Florida afternoon. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 14, 2009 Bottle purchased at Chucks Fine Wine in Chagrin Falls. The bock pours a slightly hazy orange body with a thin, quickly disappearing head. Aroma is fruity with a thin bit spicy clove and pepper. Orange and lemon are mixed with a decent bit of grassy scent. Flavor is very impressive. Its sweetness is pretty smooth and fill the mouth with the bock-y blend of sweet malt, grassy sugar and a little bit of clove. Pretty good stuff, would have been divine at the brewery over dinner. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Feb 26, 2009 Enjoyed via 750ml bottle. Pours a medium gold color, with a substantial head. Nose is very slight, less malty than what one would expect from a bock of any sort. Medium-full on the palate. Flavor is somewhat balanced, with neither malt or hops dominating. Overall, not an unenjoyable experience, but not worth the retail price. Ughsmash (4046), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 30, 2008 Bomber. Poured brighter, medium golden with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up strong corny adjuncts and pale malts with lesser toasted caramel behind (not saying they adjuncted it up, but it smelled that way).. greener hops and phenols as accents. The flavor was equally abrasive with rockin’ boozy notes throughout.. corn syrup and pale malts at the core.. spicier floral hops gave a nice bit of character.. finished with alcohol-based cleanser. Medium-bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. this thing moved through the mouth with the smooth elegance of a rabid beast. durhambeer (1219), Durham, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 14, 2008 Updated: Sep 15, 2008On tap at the Spuyten Duyvil, and only $5. Orangish pour with not much head. Didn’t realize the percentage on this one, and it was really easy to drink. Sweet bready notes on the nose, some malt and not a lot of hops on the palate. Notes of apples and nondescript other fruits. Brewers seemed a bit confused on what they were going for, but it wasn’t bad. daknole (2975), Plantation, Florida, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 9, 2008 Apricot pour gives way to a small head. Non-descript aroma of wheat, yest and some malt. Flavor reminds me of about 20 other beers I have had. Not that it is bad, but nothing stands out at all. Nothing. Beershine (2710), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 20, 2008 Pours too clear, light coppery orange. Boring. Boring. Bor-ring. Sweet grainy nose. Thin, quaffable. Bland, boring, but easy-going, like some people I know. Disappointing. Oakes (8101), gone rambling, Cambodia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 18, 2008 Golden-amber colour, but slightly dull. Not much head. The aroma is pale malts and light spice. Light spice and vague malt on the palate. Light caramel. Not finding the promised pandemonium; this is pretty bland.
